The Chiefs are getting ready for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is 8-2 and Kansas City is 9-0, so it should be a very close game. But will Patrick Mahomes participate in the match?
According to NFL.com, the Chiefs’ star quarterback is listed as injured because of hip and ankle issues. The good news is that Mahomes participated fully in Wednesday’s practice.
The NFL injury report also included defensive end Charles Omenihu, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, and running back Isiah Pacheco, so the Chiefs have further issues to keep an eye on. It was reported that all three players had minimal practice time.
In 2024, the Chiefs are performing at a high level. They appear to be a strong candidate to win the Super Bowl again because they haven’t lost a game yet. The Chiefs might even finish the season without a loss.
Despite Patrick Mahomes’ injury worries going into Week 10, the Chiefs managed to overcome the Denver Broncos. The Broncos, however, added interest. The Chiefs won 16–14, almost escaping defeat. Although it was undoubtedly not Kansas City’s greatest 2024 game, they still won.
However, it will be challenging to defeat the Bills. Additionally, Buffalo will have home field advantage, which will be crucial in deciding how the game turns out. However, it is always dangerous to count the Chiefs out.
Before Sunday’s game, it will be important to keep a careful eye on Mahomes’ injury health. However, it appears like the quarterback has a good chance of playing against the Bills right now. Throughout the week leading up to Sunday’s match, the team will keep providing updates.
As the Bills attempt to upset the unbeaten Chiefs, kickoff for the Chiefs-Bills game is slated for 4:25 PM EST in Buffalo
