In a shocking turn of events late Wednesday night, a massive fire tore through a property owned by Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, reportedly causing an estimated $15 million in damages and leaving fiancée Hailee Steinfeld seriously injured.
Sources close to the couple said the blaze, which engulfed multiple structures on Allen’s sprawling estate, may have been sparked by a neglected outdoor fire pit — an oversight that is now raising serious questions about safety protocols at the residence.
Eyewitnesses described an “explosive” scene as flames erupted just before midnight, lighting up the night sky and prompting a swift response from emergency services. Despite efforts from first responders, much of the estate — including luxury vehicles, high-end equipment, and Allen’s prized memorabilia collection — was consumed by the fire.
Hailee Steinfeld, who was reportedly inside the main house when the fire spread, sustained multiple bruises and minor injuries while escaping the inferno. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
“Had it been just a few minutes later, things could’ve been a lot worse,” a firefighter at the scene said.
Josh Allen, who was out of town at the time for offseason training, has yet to release an official statement. A spokesperson for the Bills expressed support for the couple and assured fans that Allen is “fully cooperating with investigators and focused on Hailee’s recovery.”
Officials are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage and will conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire.
