Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard has made significant progress in his recovery from a strained pectoral muscle, sources close to the team confirmed.
Bernard, who suffered the injury in Week 2, was initially expected to miss 4-6 weeks. However, after an aggressive rehabilitation program, he’s now projected to return to the field in as little as 2-3 weeks.
“Terrel’s worked incredibly hard to get back on the field,” said Bills head coach Sean McDermott. “We’re excited about his progress and look forward to his return.”
Bernard’s return will bolster the Bills’ linebacker corps, which has struggled with injuries this season.
