The Buffalo Bills traded for cornerback Rasul Douglas ahead of the 2023 NFL trade deadline in a deal with the Green Bay Packers. And while at the time, many just shrugged their shoulders at the move, it immediately paid dividends.
Douglas picked off four passes after the Bills acquired him and in the calendar year he has been with the Bills, he has established himself as a fan-favorite as well as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL alongside Christian Benford, who has also had a terrific year.
Appearing on The Richard Sherman Podcast, Sherman asked Douglas if he would let Bills Mafia throw him through a table if Buffalo won the Super Bowl.
“I’ll jump through a damn table table [if we win a Super Bowl],” Douglas said. “I’ll jump right with the fans. I’ll let them pick my ass up and throw me.”
Douglas and the fans alike would love nothing more than for a Super Bowl to be brought back to
Buffalo.
