LIV golfer Anthony Kim recently expressed support for Donald Trump, stating that he has great respect for the former president. He praised Trump for his behavior off-camera.
Kim, a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit earlier this year. Notably, LIV Golf has strong ties with Donald Trump, whose courses have hosted several of the circuit’s events across all three seasons. As for Trump, he is once again running for president as the Republican candidate.
On Thursday, September 20, Anthony Kim reposted a video on X featuring a Black American woman criticizing the Democrats. In the video, the woman is seen voicing support for Republicans, calling them the true representatives of her community.
“Being a minority in any country isn’t easy. Having spent time with Donald Trump as a Korean-American I have seen and experienced who this man is when no cameras are around & that’s why I have great respect 4 this man,” he wrote.
In the earlier post, he criticized Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
“Rather B hated 4 being myself than being liked being fake. Whether ur left or right it is a fact that #KamalaHarris last interview shows complete incompetence. Seems “burdened by wat has been” 2 me🤷♂️😂 @realDonaldTrump all day. #girldad #gratitude #mentalhealth #Trump2024, ” he wrote.
Will Anthony Kim play the LIV Golf Dallas?
Anthony Kim will not be competing in the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas as he is not part of any team. Kim played as a wildcard throughout the season.
Kim played in eleven events this season and failed to achieve a single top-10 finish. In his first few events, he did not finish inside the top 50, but after making his first top-50 finish in Houston, he never placed outside of it. His best performance came at LIV Golf Greenbrier, where he finished solo 36th.
The 39-year-old golfer finished 56th in the standings but is exempt from relegation due to his wildcard status.
