CARDIFF — The world of professional darts was plunged into unprecedented turmoil early Tuesday morning as former World Champion Gerwyn Price was left effectively penniless after a bombshell divorce filing triggered a ruthless prenuptial agreement, stripping the 39-year-old Welshman of his estimated £8 million fortune.
The announcement comes just hours after the Sun on Sunday published leaked WhatsApp messages and photographs allegedly showing Price engaged in a clandestine six-month affair with Sky Sports darts reporter Amelia Vance, 34.
