The Denver Broncos will be without one of their starting cornerbacks on Monday Night Football when they host the Cleveland Browns. Riley Moss, who was iffy all week with a knee injury, is officially inactive for the game. It will be his first missed game of the season.
In his place, Levi Wallace will make his first start of the season. Signed as a free agent this offseason to provide veteran depth, Wallace has 20 tackles this season. But over the course of his career, he has played in 95 games while recording over 300 tackles and 12 interceptions.
Linebacker Drew Sanders is still not ready to make his 2024 debut and with Zach Allen back in the lineup, Eyioma Uwazurike reverts back to the inactive list.
Finally, wide receiver Josh Reynolds was not activated for the game and will stay on injured reserve. Time is running out for him to return this season.
Josh Reynolds must be activated by Wednesday
The Broncos will have until Wednesday to activate Reynolds after opening his practice window nearly three weeks ago. If he is not, he will have to remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
Reynolds has been out since having surgery on his hand earlier this season. Shortly after that, he was the victim of a shooting outside a Denver nightclub.
Reynolds has 12 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown this season and had become a favorite in the passing game for Bo Nix. It would be a big boost for the team to get him back
