Charley Hull rips a dart, gets physio, all in the middle of the Annika LPGA Tournament
Charley Hull is playing in the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club in Florida. The Englishwoman carded a low 6-under 64 in the first round and is one of the clubhouse leaders.
However, Hull experienced some physical problems on the course. NUCLR GOLF reported that Hull was seen receiving physiotherapy treatment in the middle of her round on Thursday.
The report also stated that Hull was seen breaking one of her now customary darts on the course. NUCLR GOLF accompanied its report with pictures of Hull smoking her cigarette and receiving physiotherapy.

After her first round performance, Hull talked about why she received physical therapy during the round. This is part of what she said (via ASAP Sports):
“I always have bad hips. I’ve been kind of lazy on the physio the last two weeks. Haven’t really had any physio and it’s just gone out.”
“Yesterday I wasn’t feeling very well in the pro-am, and had stomach pains and cramps and stuff. I think it just tightened my whole body up. I’m going to have a bit of physio and some needles put in me after the round,” Charley Hull said.
Hull came to the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge straight off the back of winning the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series Riyadh, her first victory in more than two years. Hull has not won on the LPGA Tour since 2022, when she won the Volunteers of America Classic (now called The Ascendant LPGA).
In the 2024 season, Hull has played 15 tournaments on the American circuit, making 13 cuts and posting four top 10s. Her best finishes to date were a tie for fifth both at the Dow Championship (teaming up with Georgia Hall) and at the Women’s Scottish Open.
