Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs has reportedly reached an agreement on a three-year, $69 million deal with the New England Patriots, which includes $26 million guaranteed, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“ESPN Sources: Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs reached agreement on a three-year, $69 million deal including $26 million guaranteed with the New England Patriots,” Schefter wrote on his X account.
Diggs, 31, was limited to just eight games due to a torn ACL during his lone season with the Houston Texans in 2024, recording 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns. The four-time Pro Bowler was acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills this past offseason, which included the Texans getting rid of the final three years of his contract, potentially allowing him to test free agency next offseason.

Diggs spent his first five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, ranking 10th in franchise history for receiving yards (4,623) and receiving touchdowns (30), before being traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2020, with the Vikings receiving the No. 22 overall pick in that year’s draft, selecting perennial All-Pro Justin Jefferson.
Diggs spent the next four seasons with the Buffalo Bills, which included being selected as a Pro Bowler four consecutive times, as well as a First-team All-Pro in 2020, having led the NFL in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535), and Second-team All-Pro in 2022. The 31-year-old ranks fourth in receptions (445), receiving yards (5,372) and receiving touchdowns (37) in Buffalo’s franchise history.
