NFL makes major Josh Allen announcement after Buffalo Bills win over San Francisco 49ers as MVP battle rages

JOSH Allen has received a major NFL award after a fantastic Week 13 performance.

Allen pranced and danced in the winter conditions on Sunday night, leading the Buffalo Bills to a 35-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

During the blizzard conditions on Sunday Night Football, Allen accounted for 166 total yards of offense and four total touchdowns, completing 76.5 percent of his throws.

As if Allen’s near-perfect performance wasn’t enough, he pulled off a feat that has never been accomplished in the history of the NFL.

The Bills quarterback became the first player in NFL history to account for a passing, rushing, and receiving touchdown in the same game.

Allen completed the feat by throwing a pass to wide receiver Amari Cooper in the red zone before having the ball lateraled back to him and running it into the end zone.

“I was wondering what he was doing over there,” Cooper said after the game.

“I figured he was over there because he wanted the ball, so I gave it to him.”

Allen was credited with both a passing and receiving touchdown on the play. In the postgame he said it was one of his favorites of his career.

“It’s got to be up there. I wish he got credited for something there, an assist or a passing touchdown,” Allen said of Cooper.

Allen was awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for his special performance.

Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still and New York Jets specialist Kene Nwangu were the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week.

Allen may be on his way to another major award at the end of the year in the MVP award.

Allen has 2,691 passing yards with 20 touchdowns and only five interceptions this season. He also has 334 rushing yards with six more touchdowns.

He will be battling against Lamar Jackson and Saquon Barkley for the end of season award.
