Sources confirm Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and head coach Sean McDermott were involved in a intense confrontation in the locker room following Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Allen, visibly frustrated with McDermott’s game plan and play-calling, unleashed his anger, questioning the coach’s decisions and leadership.
“You’re more concerned with fixing our ‘team demons’ than winning games!” Allen shouted.
McDermott, defending his philosophy, sparked Allen’s ire.
“Winning isn’t everything, Josh. We need to address our internal struggles.”
The argument escalated, with teammates Tremaine Edmunds and Stefon Diggs intervening.
“Coach, we need to focus on football, not psychology!” Edmunds exclaimed.
Diggs added, “We’re tired of hearing about demons; we need results.”
McDermott’s response— “You players don’t understand the bigger picture” —fueled the fire.
Allen, feeling disrespected, stood up, nose-to-nose with McDermott.
“Maybe we don’t understand because you’re not putting us in position to win!”
The confrontation ended with Allen storming out of the locker room.
